Main duties

• Greet guests as they arrive at the facility and thank them for their patronage upon departure.
• Determine where guests would like to sit and guide them to their table while making casual conversation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls and the State Gaming Agency.
• Answer the phones and take messages/reservations.
• Maintain an accurate wait when necessary.
• Occasionally bus tables to expedite efficient seating of waiting guests.
• Utilize communication skills significantly when interacting with others; demonstrate ability to interact with guests, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the venue, the brand, and the company.

Skills You Will Need To Succeed

• RAMP certified.
• Night, weekend, and holiday availability.
• Frequent reading and writing for reservation and table assignment system.
• Basic mathematical skills for handling calculations.
• High school diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience.

Physical Requirements

• Extended hours and ability to meet schedules as needed.
• 200,000 square feet casino environment.
• Ability to move about with urgency.
• Carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Smoke-filled environment.
• Long periods of standing without sitting or leaning.
• Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body and arms.
• Work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Use of stairs and elevators multiple times per day.
