About the role
The Responder supervises security and safety in a datacenter, ensuring the protection of both people and property. This role involves responding to security incidents, conducting patrols, and maintaining logs and reports.
Responsibilities
- Respond to security incidents within designated times.
- Conduct patrols of the datacenter's interior and exterior.
- Prepare reports on incidents responded to during shifts.
- Serve as Incident Commander or escort datacenter guests.
- Maintain logs and records in accordance with SOPs.
- Evaluate and escalate potential safety issues.
- Monitor cameras in the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Identify security shortfalls and suggest improvements.
- Notify supervisors of unsafe working conditions.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- A reliable means of communication and transportation.
- Legal right to work in the country.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Supervisory experience of 1+ years.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Desired: Experience in security industry, public service, or military.
Skills
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Ability to learn and use various security and safety devices and controls.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Customer service and service delivery orientation.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Initiative and decision-making skills.

Schedule
