About the role
The Respite Support Professional is responsible for providing respite care services to children and families in need. This position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respite care services to children and their families
- Assist with daily activities such as play, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Ensure safety and comfort of the children and families during respite care sessions
- Communicate regularly with families about the child's progress and needs
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with children and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passing background check and criminal history review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification
