About the role
The Respite Support Professional is responsible for providing respite care services to children and families in their home environment. This position offers flexible hours to accommodate the needs of both the child and family.
Responsibilities
- Provide respite care services in the home setting
- Assist with daily living activities as needed
- Support families during times of need
- Ensure safety and comfort of the child and family members
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with children and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passing background check and criminal history review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- First aid and CPR certification
- Experience with special needs children is a plus
