Duties
- Provide respite care services to individuals with disabilities.
- Offer a break for parents or guardians of individuals with disabilities.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and hours chosen by the family.
- Communicate effectively with clients and families.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills, including internet access and computer use.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Auto insurance.
- A good driving record.
- Pass an extensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry, and a criminal history check.
