Respiratory Therapy Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all respiratory department functions, including staffing, equipment, billing, quality improvement, and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, develop policies, evaluate new equipment, and perform staff coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Handle performance evaluations, attend meetings, assist as staff therapist when needed, and oversee budgets.
• Maintain quality metrics, reports, and ensure 24/7 operational readiness.
• Provide care across diverse age groups and participate in committee activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, licensed RRT, with BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Minimum 5 years of acute care RRT experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory roles preferred.
