About the Role

The Manager of Respiratory Therapy oversees all aspects of respiratory care services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. They evaluate patient respiratory needs, provide operational leadership, and ensure compliance with legal, accreditation, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise department staff, maintaining standards of practice and policies.
• Conduct respiratory assessments and administer medications as prescribed.
• Ensure departmental compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Director of Critical Care to optimize clinical operations.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year AMA-approved respiratory care program; Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
• Current Florida RRT license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (obtained within 6 months if necessary).

Skills

• Proficiency in PC use.
