Respiratory Therapy Extern - Cardiac Rehab
About the role
The Extern will be a part of an approved internship program where they will have the opportunity to build knowledge and skills in a health care setting. The extern will be provided with exposure to project experience in a formalized program in preparation for careers in healthcare administration.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Works cooperatively and proactively with other team members.
- Completes assigned projects and tasks in a timely, accurate, high quality manner.
- Tracks progress, deadlines, and priorities of all assigned projects.

Skills and Abilities
- Ability to interact positively with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- An ability to communicate effectively.
- A knowledge of the skills important to customer service, researching and delivering a creative project, and the willingness to learn and develop further knowledge and skills in these areas.
- Operation of Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel.
- Good organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail.
