Job Summary

The Clinical Coordinator and Educator (CCE) will demonstrate didactic and clinical knowledge and skills equivalent to that of a respiratory therapist and will demonstrate the ability to teach this knowledge and skills to others. The CCE will be a role model of professionalism and will stay current with advances in the practice of Respiratory Care and keep the department informed of such advances.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Bachelor's Degree (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
  • No Travel Required

About the Role

HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is located in west Miami-Dade County. Our acute care facility has 417 beds. Our services include trauma, burn, surgical, women’s and children’s services, behavioral health and diagnostic services. We have two full service free-standing ER facilities. HCA Florida Kendall Hospital has received the Distinguished Hospital Award for Overall Clinical Excellence from HealthGrades. This national recognition places us in the top 5% of hospitals for overall clinical quality. We are a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center certified by the Florida Department of Health.
