Role Overview
The Respiratory Therapist administers therapeutic gases, ventilator support, and various respiratory treatments. Performs critical procedures such as chest physiotherapy, intubation, arterial line insertions, mini-BALs, and CPR. Conducts patient assessments, monitors therapy effectiveness, collaborates with the care team, and documents patient data accurately.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care
- 1–3 years of experience
- Maryland RCP licensure
- NBRC RRT credential within 1 year
- American Heart Association CPR certification
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within 1 year
- Basic professional knowledge aligned with a Bachelor's level is preferred
