Respiratory Therapist RRT / CRT

About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory treatments, including gases and ventilator support, performs procedures such as intubation and chest physiotherapy, and conducts patient assessments. They monitor therapy effectiveness, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer therapeutic gases and support ventilation.
• Perform critical interventions such as intubation and chest physiotherapy.
• Monitor patient progress and document all activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care required; Bachelor’s knowledge preferred.
• 1–3 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• Maryland RCP licensure and NBRC RRT credential within 1 year of hire.
• American Heart Association CPR certification; ACLS and PALS within 1 year of hire.
