Respiratory Therapist - Rotating shifts

Part-time (16 hours/week) position at Saint Francis Hospital - Wilmington, DE. Shift is every third weekend day shift, with occasional coverage on Tuesday - Thursday from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm for outpatient testing.

About the Role

This person will be responsible for performing respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures. Communicates appropriate information to ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory treatment modalities in conformance with established policies and procedures.
• Communicates appropriate information so that continuity of care can be provided.
• Delivers and delegates respiratory care to both inpatients and outpatients, demonstrating knowledge of facts and sound judgment.
• Identifies and appropriately utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to facilitate delivery of care.
• Seeks knowledge related to patient’s condition, disease entity, or treatment and reflects this in patient care, documentation, and team conferences.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program.
• Registered through the NBRC.
• Licensed in the state of Delaware or holds a valid temporary license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Certified in BLS.
