Responsibilities

  • Deliver respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
  • Administer treatments, manage ventilators, and perform diagnostics
  • Follow evidence-based protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Serve as a lead/charge therapist, guiding workflow and supporting team members

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate’s degree in respiratory care
  • Illinois RT license (or within 6 months)
  • CRT (NBRC)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • NRP & PALS within 90 days (effective July 1, 2025)

Preferred

  • ACLS
  • NPS and/or ACCS credentials
  • Bachelor's degree in respiratory care
  • 3 years of previous job-related experience (RT 3)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC (RT 3)

Pay

Pay Rate: $41.35 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
