Respiratory Therapist (Registered/Certified)

Role: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) responsible for assessing, planning, performing, and evaluating patient respiratory care to ensure optimal patient and family experience. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, perform therapeutic modalities (e.g., aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, secretion management), manage mechanical ventilators, provide patient and family education, assist with airway management and intra-hospital transports, and support emergency interventions. Maintain documentation, adhere to safety standards, and assist in procedures like bronchoscopy and invasive monitoring. Serve as Shift Coordinator and preceptor for new staff and students. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from Specialty Training Program, with certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS. Ability to work in a clinical environment, demonstrate professionalism, and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams. Strong communication, critical thinking, and technical skills are essential. Additional Details: Work hours are 7pm-7:30am, including weekends and holidays. The role offers professional growth, mentorship, and a supportive, safe environment with state-of-the-art equipment.
