Respiratory Therapist - Registered/Certified

About the role

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) position.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient respiratory needs
• Develop and evaluate treatment plans
• Perform therapeutic modalities (e.g., aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, secretion management)
• Operate mechanical ventilators
• Provide patient and family education
• Assist with intra-hospital transport and emergency airway management
• Monitor non‑invasive devices
• Collect blood gases
• Support invasive procedures
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance
• Serve as shift coordinator
• Mentor students
• Collaborate with medical teams
• Maintain confidentiality
• Adhere to standards
• Assist in bronchoscopy and invasive line placement
• Support discharge planning

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program
• Current certifications (ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS)

Schedule
