Respiratory Therapist - PRN Nights

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, and critical care support in adult and neonatal units. The role involves working in various areas such as ICUs, acute care floors, and the NICU, with opportunities to cross-train in EEGs, PFTs, and NICU care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and monitoring
• Conduct respiratory procedures and critical care interventions
• Perform blood gas analysis
• Manage respiratory equipment
• Educate patients on respiratory care
• Participate in conferences and development courses

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and licensed by the state
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications
• Active practice with maintained competencies; 1+ year experience preferred
