Respiratory Therapist - PRN Nights

About the role

We are seeking a PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Administering and evaluating a variety of treatments and tests under physician direction.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensuring the competent delivery of routine and emergent respiratory services per policies.
• Explaining procedures to patients and documenting all treatment information accurately.
• Managing critical care procedures such as ventilator management, airway management, and blood gas interpretation.
• Prioritizing patient needs, providing education, and acting as a patient advocate.

Requirements

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current RCP licensure in the appropriate state required.

Skills

• Ability to perform routine and advanced respiratory care, including critical care procedures.
• Strong communication skills to explain treatments and collaborate with teams.
