About the role
Responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform ventilator management, weaning, airway management, and pulmonary diagnostics
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients, families, and mentor staff and students
- Ensure patient safety through accurate documentation, medication safety, and quality improvement initiatives
- Assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Participate in performance improvement activities
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree
- Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (all required upon hire)
- 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care
- Strong communication, critical thinking, assessment, and computer skills
