Role Overview The Respiratory Therapist provides expert respiratory care, demonstrating critical thinking and clinical skills. Certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the NBRC, they assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes. The role includes administering medications, educating patients and families, and supporting healthcare team collaboration. The therapist offers clinical leadership, promotes lifelong learning, and ensures quality patient care.
