Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem/PRN

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in respiratory therapy, following physician's orders. Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff, consulting on therapy effectiveness and performing assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
• Current RCP license
• NBRC credentials (RRT or CRT)
• ACLS certification (required); PALS for ER roles
• Minimum one year of experience (excluding orientation)
• Must meet physical demands, including lifting and kneeling
• Critical care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of respiratory care
• Ensure therapy effectiveness and act as a resource for medical teams
• Utilize respiratory care devices
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff
