About the Role

The Registered Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role within the healthcare team by establishing personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. They collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans that promote optimal health or provide comfort at end-of-life. The therapist applies best scientific evidence and compassion to support patients throughout their health journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and delivery of respiratory care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• New graduates must obtain RRT credential within twelve months of hire.
