Respiratory Therapist - Part Time Night Shift

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings. Responsibilities include: Providing patient-centered care, performing ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient education. Collaborates with healthcare teams, ensures safety standards, promotes quality improvement, and mentors new staff and students. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with associate's degree (bachelor's preferred). Requires 0-2 years of clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care. Must hold valid respiratory therapy, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, with instructor certifications preferred. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and computer skills are essential. Key Duties: Administer therapies, manage ventilators, perform invasive/non-invasive procedures, educate patients and team members, and ensure high-quality, safe care. Complies with policies and promotes a positive, team-oriented environment.
