About the role
Respiratory Therapist at a Level I Trauma Center and Level III NICU, providing critical care across diverse environments.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' pulmonary needs.
- Deliver respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and cystic fibrosis patients in general units.
- Manage high-acuity cases including trauma, cardiac arrests, and emergency admissions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care throughout hospitalization.
- Utilize RT-driven protocols, including extubations, with autonomy.
- Potential growth into Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Neonatal Transport, and ECMO specialization.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program.
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) within one year of hire.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

- Provide high-quality, autonomous respiratory care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Support continuous professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
