Responsibilities
- Conducts patient assessments
- Administers therapies
- Consults with physicians on treatment effectiveness
- Performs assigned duties using respiratory care equipment
- Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nurses
- Responds to emergencies
- Manages respiratory care equipment
Requirements
- Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license meeting state requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
- Physical ability to handle equipment and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
- Critical care experience
