Full-Time; Night Shifts Available
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma plus 2 years direct respiratory care experience OR an Associate's OR Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care.
- Applicant must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Applicant must hold a current Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP).
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory care. ACCS, NPS, ACLS
Responsibilities
- Performs routine respiratory care procedures including, but not limited to: updrafts, metered dose inhalers (MDI), chest physiotherapy (CPT), arterial blood gases (ABG), incentive spirometry, intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV), patient education, mechanical ventilator setup and management.
- Affords assistance in codes and rapid responses.
- Calls for, or physically moves, equipment and medical supplies needed into the assigned work areas.
- Enters patient treatment notes in e-chart system and/or places documentation in patient charts.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
