Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift - 10K Sign-on Bonus

Full-Time; Night Shifts Available

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma plus 2 years direct respiratory care experience OR an Associate's OR Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care.
• Applicant must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Applicant must hold a current Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP).
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory care. ACCS, NPS, ACLS

Responsibilities

• Performs routine respiratory care procedures including, but not limited to: updrafts, metered dose inhalers (MDI), chest physiotherapy (CPT), arterial blood gases (ABG), incentive spirometry, intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV), patient education, mechanical ventilator setup and management.
• Affords assistance in codes and rapid responses.
• Calls for, or physically moves, equipment and medical supplies needed into the assigned work areas.
• Enters patient treatment notes in e-chart system and/or places documentation in patient charts.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Hazards: Biological, Chemical, Dust, Electrical, Fumes/Gases/Odors, Radiation, Sharp objects/tools

Commensurate with education and experience
