Respiratory Therapist - Night (Part-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide patient care in managing respiratory and cardiac deficiencies within a dedicated healthcare team committed to high-quality, patient-centered care and community health improvement.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments
• Perform arterial punctures
• Monitor and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
• Respond to emergency codes with CPR and intubation if certified
• Evaluate therapy effectiveness
• Document patient information accurately
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory care
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
• Prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively within a diverse team
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities
• Maintain departmental standards

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP (NRP required within 60 days of hire)
