Respiratory Therapist - Part Time Night

About the role

Deliver complex respiratory care, including ventilator management, medication administration, and patient assessment, primarily in critical care settings. Collaborate with healthcare team members, educate patients and staff, and promote a safe, quality environment with adherence to policies and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures
• Conduct arterial blood gas sampling
• Manage airway care
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program
• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• 0–2 years of clinical experience with critical care exposure

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills
