Respiratory Therapist - Part Time Night

About the role

Deliver advanced respiratory care in critical settings, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and medication administration. Assess patients, collaborate with healthcare teams, and provide education to patients, families, and staff. Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures, ensure patient safety, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Contribute to staff and student education while adhering to organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered respiratory care
• Perform patient assessments
• Manage ventilators and airway procedures
• Administer respiratory medications
• Educate patients, families, and staff
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with protocols
• Support performance improvement and quality initiatives

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with science coursework
• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor's preferred
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care
• Current registration and licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (instructor and provisional options accepted)
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills
