Respiratory Therapist II (RRT)

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) to join the Respiratory Care - Adult department at a medical center in Charlotte, NC. Key responsibilities include: acting as a patient advocate, prioritizing care based on patient acuity, administering and evaluating medication therapies, performing patient transfers, and providing routine and advanced respiratory treatments such as ABGs and bronchial hygiene. Critical care duties involve ventilator management, airway management, blood gas analysis, and responding to emergent situations like code blue. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, 2-year or associate degree (preferred bachelor’s), and current RCP licensure. Skills: ability to work independently, evaluate patient needs, follow standards, and document care per policies.
