Respiratory Therapist II - Night Shift (Non-NICU)

Respiratory Therapist II primarily working night shifts in critical care areas, responsible for providing advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and ventilator management. Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional patient care through assessments, therapy administration, and procedure support.
• Managing ventilators, performing airway procedures, and analyzing arterial blood gases.
• Educating patients, mentoring new staff, and supporting team development.
• Ensuring safety standards, accurate documentation, and compliance with policies.
• Participating in quality initiatives and promoting a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with at least 20 quarter hours of science; associate's degree required, bachelor's preferred.
• 0–2 years of clinical experience, with a minimum of 6 months in critical care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; proficiency in computer systems.
