Responsibilities
- Delivering exceptional patient care through assessments, therapy administration, and procedure support.
- Managing ventilators, performing airway procedures, and analyzing arterial blood gases.
- Educating patients, mentoring new staff, and supporting team development.
- Ensuring safety standards, accurate documentation, and compliance with policies.
- Participating in quality initiatives and promoting a positive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with at least 20 quarter hours of science; associate's degree required, bachelor's preferred.
- 0–2 years of clinical experience, with a minimum of 6 months in critical care.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; proficiency in computer systems.
