Respiratory Therapist II - Night Shift (Non-NICU)

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to provide advanced respiratory care in critical settings, primarily during night shifts. Key responsibilities include: performing patient assessments, administering aerosolized medications, managing ventilators, interpreting waveform graphics, and performing airway management procedures. The role involves educating patients and mentoring staff, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring quality and safe patient care through adherence to protocols and evidence-based practices. Qualifications: a graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with an associate's degree (bachelor's preferred), 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care, and current licensure including Registered Respiratory Therapist and Respiratory Care Professional credentials. Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications are required. Skills: strong communication, critical thinking, relationship-building with healthcare professionals, and computer proficiency. Additional duties include: documentation, participation in quality improvement initiatives, and supporting a positive team environment.
