Respiratory Therapist - GIG/Flex/Per Diem/PRN

Role Overview

Performs comprehensive respiratory care for patients based on physician orders, acting as a key resource for medical staff. Provides direct patient care, evaluates therapy effectiveness, and consults with physicians and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
• Current state licensure
• NBRC credentials (RRT or CRT)
• Minimum of one year of experience
• Preferred critical care background
• ACLS and PALS certifications (for ER roles)
• Must demonstrate physical capability to handle respiratory equipment and assist with patient mobility

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered respiratory therapies
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize care
• Utilize all appropriate respiratory care devices
• Provide consultation on therapy effectiveness
• Perform duties with professionalism and compassion

Schedule

Flexible shifts (day/night, 4-12 hours), with incentives, and no weekend or holiday requirements.
