Respiratory Therapist - GIG/Flex/Per Diem/PRN

Role: Performs comprehensive respiratory care for patients based on physician orders, acting as a key resource for both physicians and nursing staff. Provides direct patient care, consults on therapy effectiveness, and performs assigned duties to support patient recovery. Qualifications: Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program, with a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license. Holds either RRT or CRT credential from the NBRC. Emergency Room staff require PALS and ACLS certifications. At least one year of experience, excluding orientation, is preferred. Physical demands include handling respiratory devices and physical exertion. Skills & Attributes: Compassionate, professional, collaborative, with a positive outlook and strong advocacy. Skilled in operating respiratory care equipment, with a preference for critical care experience. Key Duties Deliver direct patient respiratory care per physician orders.Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and adjustments.Act as an advanced resource for respiratory care in clinical settings.Utilize appropriate respiratory devices and equipment.Perform duties with flexibility in shifts, including day, night, and variable hours, with no weekend or holiday requirements.
