Respiratory Therapist - Full Time, Night Shift

About the Role

Join a collaborative Respiratory Therapy team providing advanced critical care and clinical support. The position involves assessing, performing, and evaluating therapeutic, diagnostic, and monitoring services in the Pulmonary Function Laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pulmonary function tests and cardiopulmonary exercise testing
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling, medical gas and aerosol therapy, and airway management
• Provide emergency respiratory care and electrocardiograms
• Evaluate test reliability and perform quality control
• Document results and participate in patient education and quality improvement programs
• Schedule and perform diagnostic procedures
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance
• Evaluate clinical results and provide age-appropriate patient care across all age groups

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy program with a Diploma or AAS Degree
• Valid license to practice in the state
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• NRP certification preferred
• Prior acute or critical care experience is desirable, but motivated new graduates are welcome
