About the Role
Responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care under physician supervision, acting as an advanced resource for medical staff, and performing direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapies
- Consult with physicians on treatment effectiveness
- Operate all respiratory care equipment
- Train and rotate through NICU duties
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
- Current state licensure
- NBRC RRT credential
- PALS certification required for ER staff
- Preferred experience in critical care
- ACLS certification preferred
Physical & Equipment Skills
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Able to kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
- Efficiently operate all respiratory care devices
