About the Role
Responsible for delivering comprehensive respiratory care under physician supervision. Serves as an advanced resource for medical staff and will rotate through NICU training and assignments.
Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care utilizing respiratory devices
- Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness
- Provide expert support to physicians and nursing staff with a focus on patient safety and care quality
- Perform duties as assigned
Requirements
- Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
- Current state licensure
- NBRC RRT credential
- PALS certification required for ER roles
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical care experience
- ACLS certification
Skills & Equipment
- Proficient in using respiratory care devices
- Physically capable of handling equipment up to 50 lbs
- Able to perform minimal physical tasks such as kneeling and crouching
