Respiratory Therapist - Full Time

About the role

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide patient care through respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and weaning oxygen and artificial ventilation
• Analyzing arterial blood gases
• Assisting with airway management
• Delivering therapies per physician orders and policies
• Reviewing clinical information
• Educating patients and staff
• Performing diagnostic procedures
• Maintaining professional certifications
• Performing routine and advanced procedures
• Documenting clinical data
• Ensuring patient safety
• Staying current with professional knowledge and compliance standards
• Adhering to safety protocols when exposed to communicable diseases and hazardous materials
• Performing physical exertion including heavy lifting and working in a patient care environment
• Making a meaningful impact in healthcare

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree
• Valid state license
• Certification as a Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification for NICU‑trained therapists
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
