Respiratory Therapist - Full Time

About the Role

Assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary issues. Perform diagnostic tests, administer therapies such as oxygen and aerosol medications, monitor patient progress, and provide patient education on lung condition management.

Collaborate with physicians to develop individualized treatment plans, operate and maintain respiratory equipment, and respond to emergency situations including airway management and resuscitation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary conditions
• Perform diagnostic tests and administer respiratory therapies
• Monitor patient progress and provide education on managing lung conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
• Respond to emergency situations, including airway management and resuscitation

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or relevant credential (CRT or RRT)
• Preference for experience in long-term care or home care settings
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
