Respiratory Therapist - Full Time

Role: Respiratory Therapist providing comprehensive respiratory care, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support to patients of all ages. Responsibilities Include Performing routine and advanced therapeutic procedures following policies and procedures.Reviewing, documenting, and analyzing clinical information for each patient.Educating patients and colleagues on procedures and treatment plans.Conducting diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and EKGs.Delivering patient-centered care considering physical, psycho/social, educational, and safety needs.Adapting communication and behavior to suit diverse patient populations.Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, standards, and regulations.Maintaining safety by handling potentially hazardous materials and working in a healthcare setting with occupational risks. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.Current license as a Respiratory Therapist and certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS within 90 days. Skills And Abilities Proficiency in computer skills, data entry, and software applications.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism. Additional requirements: Ability to adapt to patient needs, work in a team, and stay informed on regulatory standards to ensure compliance. Physical demands include exposure to biological hazards and working directly with patients in a healthcare environment.
