Respiratory Therapist - Full Time

About the Role

This position focuses on delivering advanced respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients in a supportive, patient-centered environment. The role emphasizes professional growth, collaboration, and adherence to high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients, including delivering treatments and assessing patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Assist with medical procedures and monitor patient progress.
• Educate families on respiratory care and support critical care services.
• Serve as a mentor to colleagues and ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including lifting equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.

Requirements

• Graduate from a CoARC-approved respiratory therapy program.
• Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Strong critical-thinking, communication, and patient care skills.

Qualifications

• Pediatric, neonatal, or critical care experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
