Respiratory Therapist - Full Time

About the Role

Provides direct respiratory care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and treatment, within hospital guidelines. Demonstrates advanced clinical expertise and serves as a resource for the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with team members, patients, families, and trainees, ensuring proper documentation and handoffs.
• Educates others on respiratory treatments and procedures, tailoring approaches to diverse learning styles.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures following established standards, troubleshooting as needed.
• Supports advanced responsibilities such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, sleep studies, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
• Maintains patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licenses and certifications including Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, and Basic Cardiovascular Life Support.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and ability to perform multiple duties essential.
