Responsibilities

• The Respiratory Therapist provides safe and effective administration of Respiratory Care Procedures as ordered by the physician according to the established standards and policies with special consideration for the age of the patient being treated.
• The Respiratory Therapist possesses a larger degree of knowledge in the pathophysiology of Respiratory disease along with strong technical skills and knowledge in clinical “matching” of current treatment modalities with those disease processes in infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
