About the role
0.5 FTE (40 hours every 2 weeks) with day shifts, including every 3rd weekend rotation and rotating holidays. Shift differentials: PM – $2.50/hour, Nights – $4.00/hour, Weekends - $3.00/hour.
Responsibilities
- Work with autonomy while collaborating across departments to improve patient health.
- Assess the patient's cardiopulmonary status to develop, revise, implement, and evaluate a respiratory care plan.
- Identify and address the special needs, education, and training of patients and families in outpatient settings.
Requirements
- Associate degree in respiratory therapy.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the state of Wisconsin.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (within 2 years of hire).
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers.
