Respiratory Technician, PRN

Role: Provides non-critical respiratory care, including aerosol therapy, chest physical therapy, and oximetry evaluations. Responsibilities: Administers therapies, performs Basic Life Support activities, educates patients and their families on respiratory care, and maintains equipment and supplies. Executes non-invasive respiratory procedures under supervision of a licensed Respiratory Therapist. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an AMA-approved respiratory care program with at least one completed semester; maintains active student status and submits a recommendation letter from the Program Director. Experience & Certifications: Completed a student respiratory floor therapy rotation. Holds BCLS certification upon hire and ACLS certification after the second semester or within 60 days. Skills: Knowledge of respiratory care procedures, equipment maintenance, patient education, and adherence to safety protocols.
