Role Overview: Provides foundational respiratory care services to non-critical patients, including administering aerosol therapy, chest physical therapy, and oximetry evaluations. Assists with Basic Life Support activities and educates patients and their families on respiratory procedures. Key Responsibilities Administers non-invasive respiratory treatments under supervision of a licensed Respiratory TherapistPerforms equipment cleaning, assembly, setup, and maintenanceTeaches and demonstrates respiratory care activities to patients and families Qualifications & Skills Currently enrolled in an AMA-approved respiratory care program, with at least one completed semesterMust maintain active student status and provide a letter of recommendation from the Program DirectorCompleted a student respiratory floor therapy rotationRequired certifications include BCLS upon hire and ACLS within 60 days or after the second semester
