Respiratory Technician (PRN)

Summary: Under the direct clinical supervision of a department supervisor, administers respiratory therapy modalities as ordered by a physician in accordance with state regulations and licensing requirements. Responsibilities Perform respiratory therapy procedures in compliance with medical orders and regulatory standards.Assist in patient care related to respiratory health under supervision. Qualifications Successfully completed at least one semester of a Respiratory Therapy program.Possess an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.Hold valid RT (Respiratory Therapist) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications from the AHA.Maintain good academic standing in the respiratory program. Skills & Requirements Strong understanding of respiratory care procedures.Ability to work under supervision and follow protocols accurately.
