Respiratory Student Extern

About the role

The Respiratory Student Extern assists in maintaining respiratory care equipment, supports respiratory therapists, and ensures inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, assembly, and testing of respiratory equipment
• Manage supplies and rental equipment using LEAN processes
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain oxygen cylinder supplies
• Support calibration and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment
• Keep work areas clean and hazard-free
• Assist respiratory practitioners as needed

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Current respiratory student within one year of graduation
• Ability to work part-time
