About the Role
The Respiratory Care Student provides evaluation and care for patients within their student scope, supporting respiratory therapy services.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments
- Assess patient responses
- Monitor and communicate patient conditions
- Deliver patient education
- Respond to medical emergencies
- Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program
- No prior experience required
- Must meet physical demands such as standing, lifting, and communication
- Hold valid BLS and respiratory permits/licenses specific to the state of practice (Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois, Wisconsin)
Schedule
Day shift, PRN (as needed) employee.
