Respiratory Care Practitioner - Providence Kodiak
Full-time, 1.0 FTE position located onsite at Providence Kodiak Medical Center in Kodiak, AK. $10,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance available for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
About the role
Provides Respiratory Therapy services to patients as prescribed by physicians in conjunction with established policies and procedures. Delivers diagnostic testing for patients with cardiopulmonary difficulties and professional respiratory care for assigned patients in Home Health.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Respiratory Therapy services to patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform diagnostic testing for patients with cardiopulmonary difficulties.
- Provide professional respiratory care for assigned patients in Home Health.
Requirements
- National Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) or National Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
Qualifications
Required:
- National Certified Respiratory Therapist or National Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC).
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
Preferred:
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care.
- 1 year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.

Pay
Pay range: $37.08 - $55.62 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full-time, variable shift, 40 hours per week.
