Respiratory Care Practitioner

About the role

Sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. May work with adult, pediatric and neonatal patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and treats respiratory diseases and illnesses
• Works with adult, pediatric and neonatal patients

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months previous hospital-based work experience, in the field of Respiratory Care

Qualifications

• Successfully completed an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

• Ability to diagnose and treat respiratory diseases and illnesses
• Experience working with adult, pediatric and neonatal patients

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
